Rigby, ID July, 09 2008 – Klim USA along with GORE-TEX fabrics announced today that they have signed on with Scheuring Speed Sports as their official clothing sponsor which will include the most ventilated helmet the F4 helmet, The Radium GORE-TEX Boot, The PowerXross Pullover and the Free Ride Pants.

Scheuring Speed Sports has a long history with snocross and has seen great success. Their successes include six ESPN X Games medals, one Gold, two Silver, and three Bronze. This is the second highest team total in the sport’s history. They have had at least one driver in 236 of the 238 main events in the WPSA race circuit since the teams start in snocross racing with over 96 podium finishes.

Scheuring speed sports has also been named Team of the Year multiple times. Scheuring Speed Sports rider’s include two of the top racers in the sport pro racers DJ Eckstrom and Shaun Crapo. DJ Eckstrom who hails from Duluth, Minnesota has been with the team for ten years and his contract keeps him with the team until 2010. D.J. has been named one of the Top Ten racers of all times by SNO-X Magazine. He ranks second in total number of podiums on the circuit and is a multiple X Games winner. In addition to multiple wins D.J. has ranked in the top three, nine of the past ten years as a team racer.

Shaun Crapo lives just up the road from Klim in St. Anthony, Idaho. He comes from a long line of successful snocross racers. Racer Shaun Crapo joined the team two years ago and is also a Top Five Racer in the Pro Ranks. Shaun was named most improved Pro Racer for 2007-2008. He has had multiple podiums and wins as well and was the Semi Pro Champion before going Pro three years ago.
